Robert Shea - Director, Artistic Director
NewArtistic/Executive Director for The Barnstormers stage. Since 2008, he has served as the theatre’s part-time Artistic Director while maintaining full-time directorship of the Dana Center for the Performing Arts at Saint Anselm College. Prior to his work with the Dana Center, Bob, who earned his MFA in Theatre Arts from the University of Memphis, served as Vice-President for Academic Affairs at the New Hampshire Institute of Art. There he helped to develop their Bachelor of Fine Arts degree program, now a nationally recognized College for the visual arts. Prior to his work with the Institute, Bob served for 12 years as the Artistic/Executive Director of the Palace Theatre in Manchester. Bob began his work at The Barnstormers in 1981 as a lighting designer and since has served as actor, director, technical director, board member, and Artistic Director.
